Indrek Kongats started guiding fishermen on Georgian Bay's famous Moon River.

"As soon as I took out my first group of anglers, with the boat speeding across the water in anticipation of some exciting fishing , I knew I was hooked for life".

That was in the spring of 1984 and Indrek is still hot at, from running trips up to the Canadian Arctic to fly fishing for Reds in Florida with some downrigging action in between as the founder and president of the Ontario Sportfishing Club!

Indrek’s background includes a degree in Fine Art from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where he was also the Captain of the Men's Varsity Basketball Team and member of the Canadian National Team. Indrek is also an avid photographer, artist, outdoor writer and fly tier. Growing up in Northern Ontario at the family owned resort, taking people fishing was a routine event with his grandfather Felix Eljas.
